Several features of the layout navigation tool (LNT) are reworked now. LNT window position and size will be restored automatically after restart. Additionally, a one click single sign on web start for Observer Client and LNT is realized, the user only needs to login once for both applications. And most important, there is a convenient drag & drop for cameras from the LNT directly to a viewport in the Observer client. Please note: the mouse over delay in LNT should be set higher as usual, otherwise it can interfere with the drag & drop feature.

The stable growth of the company demands for an enlargement of the unlimitedly scalable installation. The integrated video analytics NETAVIS CarReader was realized later on and is now being extended too. Up to now, 65 cameras and the number plate recognition on four lines were operating reliably on a single server. Only by changing the software license key and the configuration of an additional server, this system is extended into a NETAVIS distributed network. In the future, 175 cameras and the video analytics of twelve lines of number plate recognition will be handled on two servers only with the capacity to include even more later on. The Layout Navigation Tool and the NETAVIS Mobile Clients complement this installation adding better overview and ease of use to the reliable detection of unauthorized access to AVL List’s premises.

The leading edge technology innovations in video analytics did impress not only trade fair visitors at EuroCIS - Europe's most important trade fair for retail.
Even Spiegel TV, a wellknown German TV reports show, was impressed by NETAVIS technology. Senior Sales Manager René Beran presented the innovation „Face Detection“ to the interviewer.
